Credit Hire as a concept has existed since the 1999’s and allows for the provision of a replacement vehicle to the innocent victim of a road traffic accident. Kwick Assist Ltd was initially set up to provide credit hire services to these victims. As the business grew we realised that whilst being without a car for some SD&P drivers was an inconvenience, for a Taxi driver however, the consequences could be disastrous.
With no vehicle, a Taxi Driver had no income and with the current cost of living in the UK being at an all-time high, it was not possible to wait till the resolution of a claim to be reimbursed for ‘Loss of Earnings’. A car is a professional driver’s livelihood and so our business evolved and we concentrated on servicing the niche of PCO Private Hire Taxi and Chauffeur drivers within London.
We continued to grow successfully and to meet further demand we began providing a nationwide service. We now supply Private Hire vehicles plated for local councils all over the country, yet still, maintain our outstanding service levels and ensure that every client is provided a safe, robust, comprehensively insured vehicle on the same day.
